These Pardina lentils are originally from the provinces of León, Palencia, Zamora and Valladolid in Spain. They are between 3.5 and 4.5 mm and they are called pardina because they have a brown skin, which does not come off during cooking.
Our dried legumes come from Legumbres el Maragato, a small artisan producer based in Leon on the river Jerga. The local climate is perfect for growing these tender the legumes.
Please note they require soaking before use.
